Activision Blizzard and Epic Games announced they would stop selling all games available on their platforms to players from Russia. This means that gamers in Russia are not able to perform transactions like purchase of games or apps on the platforms.

Boycotts of Russia’s invasion into Ukraine have also been heard throughout the gaming sector. In accordance with the most recent announcements, Activision Blizzard and Epic Games were among the companies that have ceased operations in Russia.
In a letter from Activision Blizzard Chairman Daniel Alegre The company did not clarify whether the ban applies to physical and digital games. But, Activision Blizzard said that the company as well as its employees are determined to help Ukraine. Alegre made the following statements in his speech:
